Morena is a precious girl who has come a long way since being abandoned at a rural shelter. She is very timid at first and needs a quiet, patient home. Once she knows she is safe, she is incredibly loving and affectionate! Morena likes walks, playing with toys, and lying next to her foster mom. She doesn't like being locked in her crate, but she is great about going into it when needed, such as when her foster family leaves the house. She sleeps in a dog bed at night. Morena is initially shy when meeting new people and dogs, but she warms up quickly. She loves playing with the other dog in her foster home. While she sometimes has difficulty sharing her toys with other dogs her foster has been working with her and she has been improving. She would do well with another confident dog in the home to help her with her insecurities, but she may also do well as an only dog. She mostly ignores the cat in her foster home but has sometimes shown interest in playing. Morena has some insecurities and needs someone that can work with her to navigate this. She needs a home with confident humans and clear rules and boundaries. Knowing that her humans are in charge and what is expected of her helps her feel secure. Once she knows the rules, she is respectful of them. She has met a few kids and is timid with them as with any strangers, but did not show any aggression, however, an adult-only home is required to help her feel secure. *NO APARTMENTS*
