Morena is a precious girl who needs a special home. She is very timid at first and needs a quiet, patient home with a secure fenced yard. She took a few weeks to trust her foster mom, but now that she knows she is safe, she is incredibly loving and affectionate with her! Morena likes walks, playing with and chewing on toys, and lying next to her foster mom on the couch with her head on her lap or shoulder. She doesn't like being in her crate, but she is great about going into it for meals (which she loves) and when her foster mom is leaving the house. She sleeps in a dog bed at night.

Morena is good meeting new dogs and loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Where she needs a little help is in learning to share her toys with said dogs. She has no issues with the people taking her toys and has been making progress with sharing with her foster siblings but she would either do best as an only dog or someone who can continue to work on her with this. She should be in a quiet home without kids. She mostly ignores the cat in her foster home but has sometimes shown some interest in playing with cats. She has some insecurities and needs someone that can work with her to help her navigate this. Boundaries and knowing what is expected of her helps her feel secure.

This special girl will take some time to settle into a new home, but she will be more than worth it! She will give you her whole heart when she is ready. *NO APARTMENTS*
