Mary Kate is a little shy, but wait for a second and talk nicely to her and she is yours. She will put her head in your lap while you scratch her ears and rub her cheeks. Then she will lie on your feet if you stop petting her long enough. She is fairly strong and needs some leash manners but is very anxious to please and settles down quickly to a whistle. Because of her energy and strength, she should probably go with older kids.
