We love April. She is one cool customer of a cat. She's quite smart and observant, and while she can initially seem aloof, she is hiding a loving heart under her tough cat exterior. She's not a lap cat but she enjoys being around her people once the trust is there. She's also been an outstanding mother to all of her kittens. She not only took excellent care of them by keeping them well-fed and groomed, we have watched her show them how to play nicely, and how to defend themselves against predators (and each other!). Watching her pass on her street smarts has been such a fun adventure. April has a lot of play in her and it's a real treat when she gets super playful. She has a favorite toy mouse she enjoys chasing around. April is a cat lover's dream for someone looking for a companion.
