Hunter is truly a gentle giant and loyal companion. He is very laid back and calm. He likes short walks and hanging out with his people. He loves to laze around in the grass and be snuggled! He is in a foster home with three kids between the ages of 10 and 15 and is great with them.
Hunter gets along well with other dogs and was in a foster home with other dogs in SC before coming to HART. We think he does best with another dog in the home to keep him company. He is also looking for a home when someone will be home much of the time, even post-covid. He is house trained and prefers not to be crated.
Hunter is missing a back leg, but it doesn't hold him back at all. He was found as a stray in SC.
