Hershey is a lovely 4 year old neutered mix breed dog who has constantly been set up to fail. This poor boy lost his first home when he was just a puppy, but was lucky enough to find someone who loved him. Donald (his human) has loved him for most of his life now. But sadly, Donald is very sick and can no longer care for Hersey. And Hershey can sense this since his former daily walks and play sessions simply no longer happen. Additionally, along the way, a small aggressive dog was introduced into the home who has constantly provoked poor Hershey and as often happens, the bigger dog gets the blame when things go wrong.

Hershey needs a no-dog home. He needs an adult-only home, ideally with a fenced yard where he can fetch sticks (his favorite hobby) in between walks. He would also make an awesome running buddy. Hershey is house trained, enjoys walks around the neighborhood and is very food motivated. He loves to play with his sticks, wag his entire body with excitement, sleep in his bed and do whatever it takes to get the most number of treats in a day. Yes- he LOVES training if it means more treats.

We want to set him up only for success now and get him to a place where his loving and goofy personality can come out without the stress of sensing that his human is sick and having to endure the constant stress of the small dog in the home. Can this be you? Can you help us prevent Hershey from being failed a third time?
