Chonk doesn't like change, it makes him feel anxious and defenseless. But that's exactly what happened about a month ago, when he found himself given up by his owner. We don't know why such a handsome, well taken care of, mild mannered, affectionate gentleman found himself alone and shivering at a far away shelter, but we can't wait for him to find his person and put it all behind him. Min pins have a reputation for being stubborn and foolhardy, but not Chonk. He is even tempered, housebroken and would be ok by himself or with a like-minded friend. He is great with cats (ignores them) and other calmer energy dogs, walks on a leash like a pro, looks dapper in sweaters and travels well in a car. If you have a couch and blankets to dive into - you will see him in real heaven, especially if you let him snuggle right next to you in the process. He is a very peaceful dog, rarely barking at strangers (unless they are pesky squirrels), so he'll do fantastically well in a house or in an apartment. As long as he feels safe and loved, with a person or a family of his own - you will see him blossom for many years to come.
