Terry is a happy, mellow, gentle girl who wins hearts and admirers everywhere she goes. Her foster family says she has the sweetest personality. She seems to especially love men, but she is great with everyone, including the children (ages 6 and 9) in her foster home. She is a master of "mindfulness." No power walks for this girl, she wants to practice her moving meditation in a big fenced backyard, enjoying the breeze, smelling the smells, rolling on her back in the grass. When she eats, she peacefully savors every bite. Not only is Terry great with people, she's also been amazing with other dogs. She is currently in a foster home with several other dogs, male and female, and gets along with all of them beautifully. She loves to play with the other dogs in the yard, but inside the house she is content to find a quiet comfy spot and curl up for a long snooze. She is a low energy dog and napping is one of her favorite activities. Terry was likely an outdoor dog, and she is still a little unsure as to whether she is welcome inside, so her new person or family needs to be patient and show her that yes, she is very much wanted inside. She didn't have the best life before coming to HART but Terry doesn't seem to hold a grudge against anyone. She's too busy enjoying today and basking in all the love she is getting, and that she so richly deserves. Terry is housetrained, doesn't chew on inappropriate things, and is not a 'barker'. This lovely girl is a gem.
