George is a wonderful dog. He is really the whole package. Here is what his foster mom said of George: "He is so very eager to please! This sweet fellow is well-mannered and is a good walking/jogging partner. He is playful and loves his toys. He also loves to snuggle and is a calm and good and steadfast companion. George follows his person everywhere, and finally, he is totally in tune with his person's emotions and will cuddle with you when you need it!" In short, he is a LOVE!" When George found his way to a rural shelter his eye was horribly injured. The pain this dog must have been in was hard to imagine. However, notwithstanding the pain, George did not whine or complain, and it did not change his kind disposition one bit. Given the damage to the eye (ruptured), it had to be removed but George sees perfectly well with the other eye, and it does not stop him from doing the things he loves including playing and hanging out with his people! Please let us know if you are interested in meeting this sweet dog.
