Ruby D - Adopted on 3/21/2021

Ruby is a calm, friendly snuggle bug! She loves to snooze aka snore just as much as she likes to be outside and chase a ball. She rides well in the car and is a great companion. She is friendly and outgoing, and loves to meet people including children and give kisses. Inside the house she likes to hang out with foster mom and relax in her cozy dog bed and chew on her toys. Ruby is well behaved in the house, stays off the furniture, knows some basic commands, hardly ever barks and is housebroken. She is well behaved in public and does fine on neighborhood walks near other dogs or other social settings but would likely do best as an only dog in the house. She may also do ok with another laid back submissive type dog after a guided intro. Before coming to HART Ruby sadly spent the last several years chained up outside but in her earlier years she had enjoyed the comforts of a home and she quickly fell back into the swing of indoor life and has the best outlook on life. Her foster mom says that she is so chill, sweet and affectionate. She is ready to embrace her new lease on life and wants nothing more then a warm comfy bed and a person of her very own to love.
