Chip is on the search for his new best friend! He adores the dogs in his foster home and loves playing, chasing and playing tug with them. He is a medium energy dog looking for a medium energy friend. He also likes to give his doggy friends kisses to let them know how much he loves them. They have really taught him how to be a dog and even what dog toys are for and wow is he impressed! Chip will need an established dog in his new home to help him continue to navigate this awesome new world and gain confidence. He loves to play but he also loves a good comfy place to nap and chill when he isn't playing.

Chip hasn't met a lot of people in his short life so he is scared of new people but not aggressive. It will take him a bit to settle into a new home and not be scared. Once he learned to trust foster mom he just absolutely adores her. He is the type of dog that wags his tail with his whole body. He is just the right mix of playful and snuggly. After playing with his doggy friends his favorite place is to snug right up with foster mom and give her kisses. He is housebroken, rides well in the car and rarely barks.

Chip also lives with a cat who he would really like to play with but has learned that she just doesn't feel the same way. While Chip quickly warmed up to his foster mom he seems especially fearful of kids so would be most comfortable in a home without kids. He is one of the most grateful and loving dogs I have ever met and will make the bestest friend for a very lucky person.
