Josie was very shut down at the shelter and we thought it would take a while for her to adjust. But to our delight that is not the case at all, In the words of the foster family: "Josie is a gem! She was scared and nervous in our home for about an hour and has had a complete 180 degree turn around since. She is extremely outgoing in our home, very sweet to all of us including our 8 year old child. She is always at our heels, ready to follow or do whatever we are doing. She is fantastic with our dog and has done extremely well on walks. She quickly learned to walk on one side of her person, use the restroom on walks, and walk past distractions. She is a GREAT active dog that overcame her fears impressively fast!!" We are looking for a home with another active and playful dog and also a home with a fenced yard.
