Barney was a street cat who we think might have been someone's pet at some point as he was already neutered. He wandered into a nice lady's yard at the start of COVID-19, looking like skin and bones. She kept him well fed through the summer and winter, but noticed he really wanted to come inside. She, unfortunately, had very prey-driven dogs, so didn't want him to put him at risk. After calling HART, we determined that he's very shy, sweet and friendly, likes being indoors, and seems to like some dogs. He's been really shy to come meet his foster family's kitties, so we're not sure how he'll do well with other kitties. As he's been well loved with food, he will need some help with losing some of his girth, but is otherwise the picture of health! Come meet this gentle giant and let him steal your heart!
