Ripley is a sweet and gentle hound. He is calm in the house (except when excited). He enjoys walks, chew toys, and lying in the sun. He walks well on a leash slowing down when he feels the leash tighten. He also doesn't mark during walks, he empties his bladder in one go! He is submissive, when our senior chihuahua takes over his bed, he doesn't go near it. He is also submissive with toys and food. He would probably be good with children. He should be in a home with a yard for him to explore and preferably where someone is home most of the time as he does not like being crated. I think he'd enjoy a canine playmate with his medium energy level or a human playmate.
