Buddy is a sweet well-mannered boy who definitely came from some structured home at a point. He knows how to sit and shake hands. Buddy does pretty well on the leash, but is still learning not to pull too hard. One funny, unique thing about Buddy is that he has a 'smarl' (smile/snarl). It's his weird way of expressing his excitement for seeing you in the morning, or when you return from an outing. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body his 'smarl' is 100% adorable and good-natured. So far, Buddy hasn't shown much interest in playing with toys, or getting involved in the shenanigans with playful dogs in his foster home. This may change in the future, but right now, Buddy is more laid-back than he is playful. Buddy is house trained and crate trained!
