Willa Mae is a gentle, quiet, shy hound. She likes other dogs, seems to ignore cats, and is content to hang out near her people. She's been in her foster home with free run of the house with no accidents. She loves her crate and also likes the couch. After a few days in her foster home she started wanting to play with the other dogs and is now greeting us at the door with a happy dance. Willa is easy to leash walk, but she is afraid of cars and will stop and sit on walks if something concerns her (big trucks driving by frighten her). The only barking has been joining the chorus of the other dogs in her foster home when seeing dogs out the window or a fox on the deck. Willa needs a home where she will be given time to get comfortable. Given that time, she's the perfect companion for a person or family looking for a sweet, quiet, low-maintenance dog.
