Ike is an absolute GEM of a dog! Ike is a born 'therapy dog'. He is calm, tolerant, loving, well behaved, and so gentle. His foster family cannot say enough good things about Ike. He has excellent house manners, stays off of the furniture, is not a barker or a chewer, and takes treats in the most gentle way.
Because Ike doesn't have much confidence yet, and is not leash-trained, the ideal home would have both another confident dog to help show him the ropes, and have a fenced yard. Ike will need supervision outdoors, even in the fenced yard, at least until he is acclimated and has proven he is no longer a flight risk. Ike so far has shown he knows "sit" and "lie down". He has not yet been tested with cats, but his foster family notes that he does not seem like he is a chaser.
