In the words of Dixie's foster "Dixie is awesome in every way!" Dixie is totally housebroken, great with other dogs and cats and loves meeting new people and being with people! Dixie's owner died and the owner's adult child could not keep Dixie, so ended up at the shelter. The family believed she was 9 to 10 but honestly Dixie seems to be younger than that. Whatever her age, Dixie is a gem of a pup. She is gentle and kind and never chews on anything in the house. She loves to go for walks but also is totally content with hanging out with her people or person. She follows her foster mom around the house some but is never obsessive or annoying about it. Dixie is the total package of a perfect companion. Dixie's foster mom has had dozens of fosters over many years and gives Dixie the "highest A+ and cannot find a better companion anywhere!"
