Nicki is a 9 month old puppy who is very sweet and playful, incredibly smart, and already knows a number of commands and tricks (sit, stay, wait, paw, down, up, turn around... and she is working on high five). She is housebroken and will sit at the door and whine when she has to go potty - she also knows that "go out" means to go in the back yard. She is crate trained and loves hanging out in her crate with the door open as her safe place... she will go right into it when you say "go in".
She will need to be the only dog in a home, or in a home with an older, stronger, dominant dog who will be able to teach her how the ropes. She will do best in a home with a fenced in yard where she can take her toys and run around or play fetch, and with somebody who has the time and energy to take her on long walks, runs, or hikes every day.
She's a total cuddle bug and will sleep with her head on your chest -she especially enjoys watching movies. She is just as happy in her bed as she is sleeping in bed with her people and loves to share your pillow if you let her.
Nicki is submissive when she sees other dogs and people on walks. She goes flat or rolls on her back and gives them her belly so her friends can sniff her and their people can rub her belly. She has fun playing with big dogs on play dates and those she meets on walks.
Nicki will surely make the right family very very happy!
