Henrietta is a sweet, calm, and gentle girl! She can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She has met a few kids at adoption events and is timid as she is with all strangers but otherwise did well. She is very loving and affectionate - her tail starts thumping when her foster mom just looks at her!
Henrietta is in a foster home with other dogs and does fine with them - even the grumpy older chihuahua that growls at her when she gets too close to him. She would probably also do fine as the only dog in the home. She is crate trained and does fine in a crate when home alone. She is happy to sleep in bed with her people but also does fine sleeping in her crate. She rides well in the car.
Henrietta is still learning the finer points of leash-walking, and needs a fair amount of encouragement to keep going. For this reason, she would do best in a home with a fenced yard.
