Cody M is, in a word, a gentleman! He is very calm and a little shy when you first meet him, but he is gaining his confidence quickly. He is the cutest, sweetest and most gentle of dogs and he is so tolerant. Recently another dog lunged at him on a walk and Cody did not react in the least. He is always interested and happy to meet the dogs on our morning walks. He loves to chew on his toys and has no problem sharing them with the other dogs or when we need to take them away. He enjoys running in the backyard playing with our dog and our other fosters. Play time can go on for a very long time and he is always smiling at the end and ready for a good nap. Cody is housetrained. He is treat-motivated which helps as he learns his basic commands of sit, stay and come. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and to leave the squirrels to their business. Cody loves to follow his people around the house and just spend time together. He has met some young children at the park and lets them pet him while he stays perfectly still. Although he is active with the other dogs he is just as content to chill out at your feet all day long. Cody is a perfect gentleman just waiting to find a family to love.
