Hi, my name is Shep - I am a one-year-old playful and energetic German Shepherd mix. I am smallish for a GSD, (about 45lb soaking wet), and would like to think that I am a closer cousin of Belgian Malinois, which explains my love of Belgian waffles. I love long walks and would do very well in a home with a younger dog but wouldn't mind if I am the only pup in the house. My favorite activities are playing soccer and protecting my home from those pesky squirrels. I get along, very well, with other dogs and am friendly to people as well, although sometimes I can get over excited when meeting people for the first time, especially little humans, so a home with adults or older kids might be better suited for me. Did I mention that I am fully house-trained and love my crate when home alone? I also have very good leash manners and enjoy my morning and afternoon walks.
