Daphne is a super petite lab mix and the sweetest and most gentle dog you will ever meet. Her foster family says that she is the easiest foster dog-completely house trained, crate trained, and sleeps beautifully in her crate all night. She was a mom in her previous life and after having a few litters was surrendered by her owner when she could no longer be of use to them for breeding which is quite heartbreaking because she is a great companion and family dog. She was probably in a more rural area because she is timid and anxious on her walks in the busy more suburban townhouse area her foster parents live in, so she will need a patient family that builds up to longer walks and new environments. She would love quiet strolls in your neighborhood or a park. She loves affection and is a total cuddle bug. She is low to medium energy level. She is good with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. Her foster family has 2 cats and does great with them and is calm with them. Daphne has that nanny of the house, emotional support, and love on you no matter what demeanor. Maybe it's a mom thing. During her time at her foster home, she is not allowed on furniture as her foster parents know that some owners do not want their future dog on furniture. But while she is perfectly content in her doggie bed, they can see her loving time on the couch with her head on your lap while you watch TV together (she seems to really be enamored by what a TV is and will literally watch TV with her fosters).
