Tara is a big lovable hound girl. She has a sweet gentle spirit and is a joy to have around. She ignores the cat in her foster home and does well with other dogs. She enjoys going on walks and playing with other dogs. She rides very nicely in the car. She is crate trained and quiet in her crate when her foster mom goes to work. She does great with the 13 year old in the home and we think she would do fine with younger kids as well giving her personality. She does require either a secure 6 foot fence or dedicated leash walks because she has been known to follow her nose over a shorter fence. She gets very excited for dinnertime but otherwise she is content with some ear scratches and happy to nap and drool in her own little comfy bed.
