Bruno found himself homeless when his owner passed away leaving two dogs behind. One dog did not survive leaving only Bruno behind to fend for himself in a big scary world. Some neighbors were made aware of the situation and were able to put Bruno in an outdoor run but it had no shelter, thereby exposing him to harsh, unpredictable weather. Someone put a sweatshirt on Bruno to try and keep him warm but when another individual found him his sweatshirt was wet and frozen. This person brought Bruno into the care of a vet who contacted HART.
Despite all of the trauma that Bruno has endured, he holds no grudges and, instead, is a warm, sweet, and affectionate boy with very nice leash manners. He is so grateful to be under HART's care where he is receiving regular meals, love, and care. That said, this is not the end of Bruno's remarkable journey as he waits patiently for someone to welcome him into their home. Whoever, makes the decision to do so will be immensely rewarded with a wonderful dog and loving companion.
