Buster Boy

Buster is an introvert. He adores his immediate family, is very affectionate and clownish with people he knows and loves. A dream companion of a dog, he loves to do whatever you are into, ride with you in a car, play, watch TV with you (literally), run with you and discover and enjoy the world with you. Being so strongly connected to his family, he, at the same time, distrusts strangers, be they people or other dogs. He does warm up if he sees his people interact warmly with someone, but prefers for folks not to touch him or hug him at first meeting. Being naturally timid, he would do great in a house with another dog. Not food aggressive, he gladly shares his toys, but needs a confident owner to give him firm direction. For a 1-year-old puppy, Buster's energy levels are surprisingly balanced. He does have his bursts of running, barking and playing when he is happy (you should see him twizzle around in the grass), but he is also okay with sleeping in his crate and chewing quietly on his favorite toy for an hour while you are busy cooking or doing other things.
