Attention: The safety of our adopters and volunteers is our highest priority. HART has resumed adoption events at the Chantilly Petsmart. We ask that adopters that are not fully vaccinated wear a mask while outside and that all adopters, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask while indoors.

Brooklyn is the sweetest girl. She is a little shy at first, especially in a new environment but her true personality comes out pretty quickly - and she's a big goof but can also be a super sweet snuggle buddy. She uses those puppy eyes to crawl Into your lap when she wants attention and you just can't say no to her.

She does pretty well on the leash, she is crate trained, sleeps though the night (in crate), and so far seems to be fully potty trained. She is pretty quiet but will bark in the crate if you leave so she may not be the best fit for an apartment. She is also great with other dogs and very respectful. She's currently being fostered on a farm and does not seem to have much prey drive - walking by the chickens with no real interest. She would likely be okay with cats, too.

She's a great girl! If you are interested in meeting her please reach out to her contact, Moira, to make sure she attends the next adoption event.
