Bingo lost his home due to flooding in eastern and very rural Virginia. He was very shut down and terrified at the shelter but he is out of his shell now! He loves everyone he meets - dogs, kids, neighbors. You can tell because he never stops wagging his tail, even when he's on his back getting belly rubs. He follows his foster around and she has reported that he is an incredibly attentive, sweet and loving little dog. He enjoys chasing a ball and also is content to snuggle in a dog bed when his foster parents are working. He's often so relaxed that his tongue sticks out.
He is new to us but so far his foster has observed that he will bark when she leaves. And his bedtime routine involves some "singing" that isn't too loud. This is improving each day as he settles into a routine and works on training.
He is doing well on a leash and taking care of business outside, with a housetraining refresher. For this reason, we do not think a condo or an apartment will work for this little guy. If you are interested in Bingo please let us know.
