If you are looking for a laid back dog to hang out with Ranger, is your guy. Ranger's foster parents call him Hank and we agree that Hank suits him well. Regardless of what you call him, Ranger/Hank is a sweet dog. He is housetrained and crate trained and has very good house manners. He loves to get petted and particularly loves getting his back scratched (he says "doesn't, everyone??) He is very good with the other dogs in the home and while he doesn't initiate play with them, he is very tolerant when they play with him. Now that is a dog with a nice disposition! Ranger came to us from a rural shelter where his elderly owner could not take care of him given that she was ill. If you are interested in this mellow and handsome lab, please let us know.
