Wally World is open and ready for you!

Wally is a very special dog. He was held for weeks in a poor, rural shelter that is unable to hold dogs long due to the number of animals that come in. The animal control officer specifically asked us to take him and that was all we needed to hear. He is spot on all the time with his recommendations. Wally has been with his foster several weeks and is thriving being in a home with a family, kids, and other dogs. His fur is gorgeous and soft as velvet. He came to us without knowing much about how to "dog." Wally has shown his intelligence by responded amazingly well to easy training techniques used by his foster. He is affectionate and connects with each person in his foster home. His favorite spot is at the end of the sofa lying next to his foster mom! He has quickly learned to walk nicely on the leash and knows commands like off, sit, and go lay down. His foster family loves him! He is sweet, wonderful with the children, takes treats nicely, house trained and crate trained, good with other dogs (his foster pal Blu taught him to play!), and not destructive (except for squeaky toys!). Wally World is a great place and it can be a little quirky: like in the morning when Wally greets his foster, he rubs against her legs, just like a cat, or at dinner time when he tries to eat the steam coming off a plate of food, but never tries to get the food. It's all good and it all makes Wally World a great place for you!
