Annie was found by a wonderful woman in a really rural part of Virginia. We think she is between 3 and 5 years. Annie was emaciated when she was found, but is slowly gaining weight. She loves every human, big and small, and wants to cuddle with everyone. She has so much love to give. Here is what her foster parents wrote about her: Annie is a sweet, mild-mannered, young dog. She's instantly comfortable and warm with everyone she meets (young children, teens, and adults). She's just as comfortable with other dogs, cats, and even farm animals. She's house trained, crate trained, she's good on a leash, and adores being outside as much as possible simply to explore and smell all the things. Annie is currently in a home with three young, wild kids. She's gentle, pays no attention to food or toys that aren't hers. She's low energy and enjoys sleeping near her people. As a rescued stray, she's a little on the scrawny side currently, but we're working on bulking her up. When she's happiest, she has the funniest helicopter tail wag. I'm confident she'll be a wonderful addition to any family and quickly adapt to her forever people.
