Charles teaches us to see the world with our heart and not our eyes. Charles was found in WV and brought into one of HART's vet offices for rescue. Charles had a rough start to life, and due to an untreated upper respiratory infection, his eyes were severely damaged. One of his eyes will have to be removed, and the other may be as well, but we are waiting to see how things progress.
At this time, Charles is able to see some light and shadow, and is pretty much getting around like any other fun-loving kitten does! Don't be intimidated by his sight challenges. Charles is playful and affectionate and perfect in every way. This spunky fellow gets around very well, plays with the other animals in his foster home, and loves life! With a little common sense, he will acclimate just fine in most environments, with some small accommodations. Reach out to us with any questions you may have about our little Prince Charles!
