Nina is an intelligent, curious, and high energy 1 year old of about 35 lbs. She is house trained and quiet in her crate at night. She is not a destructive chewer. She is good about sticking to her own toys, and will happily entertain herself with them. She is learning to fetch and is good about returning the ball. Nina knows Sit, Wait, Crate, and is working on other commands, but lacks confidence. She would benefit from the confidence building that comes with obedience classes. She would make a great hiking buddy or agility partner.
Nina gets mouthy when excited and is nervous around young children, so would do best in a home with calm older children or adults only. Nina loves to play with other dogs, but can be a bit competitive with the dogs she lives with, so would do best as an only dog. She would enjoy play dates with a doggy friend. She is good with the dog-friendly cat in her foster home, but may be too interested for cats who are less comfortable with dogs.
