Zoey - Adopted on 6/14/2023

Zoey is an adorable little snuggle muffin. She is very affectionate and curious about her surroundings. She is a gentle soul, and a little shy at first - but it only takes a bit of time for her to warm up to her people. She is house trained and sleeps through the night in her crate. She seems a little overwhelmed at the adoption events so her foster mom tried to find quiet corners away from the noise and so many other dogs. But rest assured in the house she is a snuggle bug! Her foster mom is working on some basic commands (like sit) and leash manners. She is fine with other dogs in the home. She had an 8 month old foster brother twice her size and they played great together. Zoey also gets along fine with a smaller senior dog in the home. She is mostly quiet, but will alert her people by barking at strange or frightening sounds. When we had the vet cut her nails, while a little concerned, she accpeted the work with grace.
