Layla is a volunteer favorite and her foster says that she is the sweetest most gentle dog. In her foster home she is pretty chill and enjoys snuggling with mom or playing with the other dog in the home. She also enjoys playing with her toys. While she is not a very vocal dog in general she does enjoy talking back to the squeaky toys when they squeak at her.
She is housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She responds well to correction as she is learning the rules of the house. She is generally pretty good on the leash and enjoys walking at her own pace and sniffing ALL the smells.
She went out to lunch with her foster mom recently and she got so much attention and comments about how sweet, gentle and calm she was.
