Stitch is the perfect name for this sweet gal as she keeps her fosters in stitches (laughing) at her playful antics. Her foster tells us that Stitch loves people and is very affectionate with every person (kids and adults alike) she meets. She loves to get pets and would never turn down a belly rub. Stitch is a medium energy dog in the house but can be high energy when at play with other dogs. She is friendly with most dogs once she gets an opportunity to know them. Stitch and her foster sibling (6-month-old Border Collie mix) have had the best time playing together. She does like to play hard so being with dogs that are similar in size (at least 25 pounds) and energy level would be the best fit for her. Once she is worn-out from playtime, she heads straight to her pillow or crate for a nap. Stitch is housebroken, crate trained, and will sleep in as long as you do. She is not destructive in the home and keeps herself entertained by playing with her toys - tug of war with her peeps or foster sibling is one of her favorite games. She also loves all kinds of treats - especially doggie ice cream. Stitch is excellent when it comes to sharing her toys and has not shown any signs of resource possessiveness. She enjoys and is well behaved on car rides. She'll lay down on the back seat though she loves to have the window cracked a bit to poke her nose out and feel the wind. Her foster says that she really is the sweetest girl and just looking for her fur-ever home.
