Teddy is an adorable cuddlebug! And there's nothing better than snuggling up with his warm, soft, fluffy shepherd fur. He loves pets and cuddles and to be near his people. He follows his fosters around the house, wanting to be with them and curious about what they're doing. He's very quiet, barking rarely, only when he's excited or thinks you need to be aware, and stays quiet while his fosters are working or busy, frequently lounging on a bed or chewing a bone. He likes people and other dogs after a proper introduction, he's ready for pets and playtime! He can be with another dog or on his own, as long as he has opportunities to play with other dogs, which he loves. He's such a good boy fully house-trained, bounds into his crate when it's time, sleeps through the night, sits and takes treats gently. He's good on a leash, rarely pulling. He's attentive to his humans and responsive to correction.
As a shepherd, he needs a fenced yard for his occasional zoomies. And he's smart! He quickly figured out to stand quietly next to the door when he wants to go out. He knows sit, wait, off, come, and is working on down and shake. His fosters says he's one of the easiest dogs they've ever had.
