In a word, Jock's foster has told us that he is "AWESOME". His "behavior and temperament are excellent". He is house trained and does not chew on things he should not. He is also very smart, attentive, and eager to please. Jock needs a home where his person or family are very active - and ideally someone who works from home at least part time. He goes on very long walks every day and wakes up early in the morning (6 a.m.) ready to start the day with a long walk. This is not a dog for someone who is not very active or looking for a dog that does not need a lot of exercise. He does have a prey drive for squirrels so we don't know how he would be with cats. He has been very good in the home with the foster's older dog. His foster mom also told us this about this sweet dog: "Jock walks very well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. We have taken him on so many outings with crowds and dogs and he behaves beautifully. He loves to be included and the center of attention. He would actually love a younger dog to play with (he is very playful and silly and loves toys and tries to get Sophie to play) but it would probably be best if that is a smaller female. " Please let us know if you are interested in Jock.
