Every effort is made to bring our dogs to the listed event each week, but due to volunteer or foster commitments Zoey A may not be at every event. To find out if Zoey A will be at this event, contact Patricia.
Zoey's foster shared that she is a loving golden retriever. She is very affectionate once she gets to know you. She was introduced to other family members and while weary at first she has grown to play fine with them, including a young 3yo. Zoey is always happy to sit and sleep right at your feet while you are home. She is house trained and if left alone will tirelessly look out the window waiting for your return. She walks well, but has a small prey drive. Someone has to keep those nosy squirrels from interrupting her owner's walk. She's always up to play games. You will know when she wants to play as she'll bring her tug-o-war rope to your chair or drop tennis balls on your lap for some quality fetch time. She is a bit of an alpha dog and plays well with some dogs but not others. With that being the case, we think she would do better as a solo dog in the home or a slow controlled introduction if there are other pets.
