Blair is very new to us. A state trooper found this little dog on a wooded median of a highway in rural Virginia. Thankfully, the trooper saw her and stopped her car. Her deputy helped stop traffic and they were able to get Blair. She then went to the local animal shelter and was very scared at the shelter but came around quickly with the people who fed her. When we heard her story, we wanted to make sure we took her so ensure that she will be loved and cared from this point forward. We will learn more about this precious dog but in the meantime we can say that she is a sweetheart and is very laid back and quiet. She also loves to snuggle. Given how scared she was and that she was found on the median of a highway, we will only consider homes with very secure fenced yards and another playful dog to help her feel comfortable. Blair does not have a mean bone in her body but at this time we want an adult home only or one with older children because of the fear that she may get out if a child leaves a door or gate open.
