Meet Marigold! Sweet, big, goofy and a lot of fun!

Can you believe that just a few months ago, Marigold was left abandoned and severely underweight in a yard with her sister in south Texas? But the good volunteers of Lost Ball Canine Rescue swooped in to save her, and after a short time in a loving, caring foster home, Marigold has blossomed into a healthy, wonderful, playful companion!

Marigold is sweet and affectionate. She loves attention in any form: being scratched, petted or played with. She's a 'velcro dog' - she likes to be near someone and will follow you around the house. And as large as Marigold is, she's a lap dog and loves to drape herself on top of her favorite seated or reclined person.

Marigold is very playful with both dogs and people. Her favorite game is to chase and be chased around the house or out in the yard. She's good with children who approach her calmly.

She walks well on a leash and LOVES her long morning and evening walks (3-4 miles daily). With her long legs and athleticism, she'd make a great running/jogging buddy, too.

She would be fine as the only dog or with another dog buddy in the home. She sleeps quietly, is housebroken, and rides great in the car.
