Salem is a gorgeous boy with quite the story. Salem was living all alone, under a truck, in a school bus parking lot. He was a part of a trap neuter release project with several cats, but all the other cats "disappeared" and this sweet boy was left alone and at risk of coyotes.

The school bus drivers loving cared for him. Salem would run to greet the bus of a driver who fed him, and he would climb up into the bus and roll around on the bus dashboard. When the drivers would leave him for the night, he watched and cried as they left.

Luckily a driver found HART and reached out for help. When our volunteer met Salem for the first time, he came running to her. He rubbed all over her legs, headbutted her hand and happily ate dry food from the palm of her hand. When it came time to take him, he was ready to go and went willingly into the carrier. Salem was a stellar patient during his vet visit and has been thriving in his temporary foster home. Give this boy the life he deserves!
