Every effort is made to bring our dogs to the listed event each week, but due to volunteer or foster commitments Peaches A may not be at every event. To find out if Peaches A will be at this event, contact Patricia.
This is a little girl with a big heart. Her name is Peaches. You only have to know that she spent the last five years of her life as a companion to another dog, a blind dog, her BFF. She kept him safe, stayed at his side, made sure he could find his way to the water bowl, led him outside to play, sniff around and "do his business". When he died she became lonely, not only missing him but also missing having a job to do.
When you approach her kennel, she is up and barking, seeming to say "take me next!" She keeps her run clean, only peeing and pooping when she gets out on a leash or in the play yard. She doesn't cuddle so much, but she pushes into you, so that you can easily scratch her back and her ears. She loves to play with other dogs (just ask sisters Thelma and Louise!) and has the energy of a 1 year old. Her fur is soft and ready for petting. Her face is scrunched up and friendly.
If you are looking for the best kind of dog, come meet Peaches and spend some time with her. She is ready for her next BFF.
