Meet Timmy, a young, sweet, and friendly dog with a heart full of courage. His tale is one of bravery and resilience. One fateful day, Timmy got his front leg caught in a dangerous leg-hold trap. Despite the pain he had to have been in, Timmy remained brave and strong, waiting for someone to help him. And a hero did come, in the form of a kind-hearted rescuer who brought him to the shelter. Timmy spent many weeks at the vets office getting treatment for his leg. No matter the pain, he let the vets and nurses tend to his leg several times a day and never, ever, even once -no matter the pain - had a cross word. The vets staff told us that hands down, Timmy was the best patient they had ever had. He was brave and always kind. They were sure he had ben someone's dog because he immediately knew sit and would give you his paw - even the injured one. Today, Timmy's leg is healing very well. This terrific dog is in a foster home with other dogs and likes to play. He is housetrained and also has great house manners. He is also ready to shower his future person or family with love.
