Precious Gems: Amber - Adopted on 10/6/2025

Amber is a pleasure to foster. She loves to play with squeaky toys and balls, and she runs and plays with my eight-year-old small dog in the backyard. My dog acts like he is one year old when he is playing with her, he really enjoys her company. Amber likes to sit with you on the couch while you watch TV. She is working on house training, and she is almost there. At night, she sleeps on a dog bed on the floor in my room. She wakes me up if she needs to go outside for a potty break. I do not have cats or kids, so I do not know how she would be with them, but she is not aggressive. I think she would be fine around calm cats and kids. When I have to leave my house for a few hours, she stays in a three-foot-high puppy pen in my kitchen, she has a bed, toys, puppy potty pad and a water dish in the pen. She is pretty good about using a potty pad. She is a quick learner. She has not chewed my shoes or furniture. She has several chew toys, and I encourage her to use them if she wants to chew.
