Ollie

Ollie is the *best* boy! He is affectionate and eager to be with his people without being a "Velcro dog." He is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He has excellent house manners. He is just so easy going!

Ollie is great with any dog he meets​,,, but he will bark to initiate. He has been perfect with his foster family's senior chihuahua who initially was not thrilled to be sharing her space. He was gentile and patient and gave her lots space until she warmed up to him.

Ollie was hit by a car in rural Virginia. The shelter there did not have the resources to get him the surgeries he needed to fix this broken leg, pelvis and dislocated hip. HART committed to rescue him and cover his surgeries. He is recovering very well from the first surgery. He will likely need one more after he is fully healed. Although Ollie is kid friendly, he still needs a quiet home while he finishes recovering, so he will do best in a home with older kids, for now.
