This gentle, sweet lab-mix will be a fabulous addition to any family. He adores meeting new people and other dogs. He follows his foster parents everywhere and even gets along well with his foster-dog sibling, a larger, dominant female. Waldo is still a puppy, but he's learning quickly. He is housebroken and is learning basic commands, but he does not "retrieve". He likes to help his people by carrying a shoe, a leash or other items around the house. Sometimes, he will nibble on stuff, but he is easily distracted with chew toys. Waldo is a smaller sized dog, but he has a big-dog bark, so he's a good doorbell.

Waldo's fur is soft and smooth, and he's very good at cuddling up with his people. He is happy with short walks around the block, and doesn't like to get far from home. He's good on leash and is interested in everything that he sees, especially new people and other dogs. Exposure to small children has been limited. and his interactions with cats is unknown. He's cautious when approaching new dogs, and he is happy to play with the friendly ones. Waldo has a small wading pool that he loves, and he would probably be thrilled to have more water to play in.

He's an all-around great dog who just needs a family to love!
