Cherry A

Cherry is a cheerful, sweet cattle dog mix who loves meeting new people and making new friends, both human and canine. She greets the world with a wagging tail and a bright, curious look. She's also a playful goofball who loves a good zoomie around the house. Life with Cherry is never boring.

Cherry is a DREAM to train! She picked up "Sit" and "Kennel" within her first 2 days with her foster, and she has since learned "Down" and to wait for "ok!" before her meals. Right now she's working on "Place" and on walking nicely in her Easy Walk harness. She's so smart and so eager to please that she'll happily learn whatever you want to do together, whether that's hiking, agility, trick training, or simply being a great neighborhood walking buddy.

Cherry is fully housetrained and even rings a bell on the door when she needs to go out. She sleeps through the night in her crate, entertains herself with toys, and doesn't get into things that aren't hers. She's unfazed by loud noises, so any household chaos won't rattle her.

Cherry is a pro at the practical stuff. She lets you wipe her feet, trim her nails, and clean her ears without a fuss, and she rides quietly and nicely in the car.

Like a true cattle dog, Cherry has plenty of energy and will thrive with an active family who can give her regular exercise. With plenty of exercise and a little guidance, she happily switches gears into a sweet, snuggly girl who relaxes with her people. Come meet Cherry!
