Mickey is a very sweet 9 year old hound mix, about 60 lbs, that looks like a baby Holstein calf. He has a gentle disposition, is well mannered, well house trained, non-destructive and an overall perfect human companion. His past home of 6 years was near the Quantico training facility and the training noise became too stressful for Mickey to live comfortably. Mickey would love a home with a fenced back yard to roam and explore. He likes long walks, is very gentle on the leash and will greet or ignore other dogs on the trail as directed. He would probably be a good jogging companion. He is great with other dogs and still has some playful puppy in him. Mickey loves to lie next to his humans when in the house or on the couch with them if invited. He is on medication for epilepsy, but seizures are mild and infrequent, less than once a month, and only last a couple of minutes.
