Every effort is made to bring our dogs to the listed event each week, but due to volunteer or foster commitments Lilith aka Lily may not be at every event. To find out if Lilith aka Lily will be at this event, contact Kim.
Lily is a playful and lovable companion. She loves her "people" and enjoys snuggling, playing, and hanging out with you. She's energetic, but content with 2-3 walks per day, plus play time. She's super intelligent! Fully house-trained and crate-trained. She will ring a strand of bells on the door when she needs to potty. She knows shake, sit, and lay down, and stay. Lily is excitable. We've made strides welcoming people in the house by telling her to "sit", "stay calm", or telling her to lay in her bed. Lily loves to play with other dogs. Her only problem is that she doesn't know how to say hello in a calm manner. During walks, she is reactive when she sees dogs, squirrels, and cats, but she will sit when you say her name , or say the word "Tot" while offering a treat. She will typically stay calm if you give her treats until the distraction passes, and tell her to stay "calm" while offering the treats. She also loves children. That said, she would do better in a home with older kids solely because her excitement can be overwhelming for smaller kids who may not understand that she just wants to say hello.
Lily is a chewer, but is fine if you keep large Nylabones around for her to enjoy, and crate her when you're out of the house.
Lily comes with lifetime training with Bark Busters which transfers to her new owner.
Lily's an amazing dog who deserves a loving home with someone who is willing to help her with some additional training.
